I feel honoured to have hosted Poland’s National Day celebrations 
If you have ever visited Warsaw, you will agree what a remarkable people the Polish are ! By the end of World War II , 85% to 90% of Warsaw’s buildings were destroyed ! After the war, citizens of Warsaw spent five years reconstructing the city. The Old Town was meticulously restored, including its churches, palaces, and market-place. Today, The Historic Centre of Warsaw is a UNESCO World Heritage Centre

The day when the Jewish people locked in the Ghettos rose up in unison against the Nazi occupiers. Prayers
