His chats with me were urbane,insightful and embellished with tongue-in-cheek humor. Also wishing a warm welcome to his successor Kobbi Shoshani (in blue tie) to Mumbai and India. UNESCO declared 17th Jan as the day to celebrate the art of Neapolitan "Pizzaiuolo". Today, the Consul General of Italy- my gorgeous friend Stefania Costanza- has sent out pizzas from Gustoso. On my annual trips to Rome, I've been lucky to visit Naples ( Pompeii/ Capri/ Amalfi coast) and to MargAntica Pizzeria Brandi , where in 1889 Chef Raffaele Esposito’s pizza creation so pleased Queen Margherita's nobel palate that he was immediately knighted. Yes , thats where the Pizza Margherita was born ❤

The tradition started in the Heian period(794-1185AD). Harada san's personal Chef Yasuhiro Horiuchi created the festive courses, each one laid out like a work of art and oh-so-delicious. ❤ Memory of this day in January 2020!
